On the Water
Jump right in. Tour the bay on a boat, find your inner fisherman, explore the deep ocean water or swim in the shallows. Add a cruise and see the world. There's so much to do in Miami in the water. Here's a list of just a few:
Arrange to camp on one of Biscayne National Park's two sizable islands, Boca Chita Key and Elliot Key. A 53-foot glass-bottom boat and a 45-foot diving and snorkeling catamaran takes adventurers across southern Biscayne Bay, through wilderness, mangrove creeks, islands, and out to tropical coral reefs teeming with sea life.
Try snorkeling through the mangroves or through the coral reefs. Fishing and lobstering are permitted in the park in season with a proper license, so you can even catch your own dinner! Explore Greater Miami's beautiful natural resource, the sea. The Miami Area Dive Operators offers scuba diving and snorkeling trips, classes and instruction, and sales and rentals.
